I do have outside ground to the breaker but not the machine. I only get a spark with it on HF continuous, I get nothing on HF start or off.Īll I did when switching to 230 volts was change the links, it looked like all it called for. I did have the postflow on.(not sure if there is another way to check) I did try a pair of jumper cables with a stick rod for a torch and I get the same result. ![]() The contactor can be heard and it does the same thing on local as well as remote. If cable is broken internally it gives the symptoms you describe. Also if you are using a tig torch test the power cable in the torch. If not then check the postflow timer because it controls the contactor. ![]() There is a magnetic contactor on the center panel that should pull in when the torch switch is activated. If you folowed the diagrams in the manual to set up for 230V then all should be well. Always glad to see new menbers.As for your welder.
